Restrictions on live theatre imposed following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic have led to the postponement and cancellation of hundreds of shows with the 2020/21 pantomime season becoming an unexpected major victim. It is widely recognised that the humble festive pantomime is the lifeblood of theatre in the UK and without it the future of many of our cherished theatres looks tragically bleak.
Performers, writers and producers are nothing if not abundantly creative and the unprecedented circumstances have led to some amazing new work being created and shown in equally as amazing new ways. There's even a glimmer of hope for the upcoming pantomime season.

Owing to overwhelming demand from our clients, we've been feverishly busy adapting a selection of our most popular, award-winning titles for the challenging 2020 Christmas season.
We're delighted to announce our collection of one-act, 'pint-size' pantomime scripts are now available to license for COVID-19 secure productions worldwide. Bring your company/society back together to safely share the magic of pantomime with your audiences.
We've taken out the intervals to aid with social distancing in your venue; the length of each script has been carefully trimmed so that each one has a running time of no more than 90 minutes; we've removed a character here and there to help keep those on stage safe too but what we haven't removed is the magic, the story, the spectacle and the side-splitting comedy that keep our clients coming back to Tom Whalley Pantomimes year on year.
